Welcome to Battle Point Brittanys. Battle Point Brittanys is a small hobby kennel located in Oregon's Willamette Valley. We only have American Brittanys!!  Brittanys make wonderful pets and hunting companions.  They are the smallest of the pointing breeds and can bring much joy to their families. However, they are not for everybody. They are a sporting dog and like all dogs require regular exercise to stay out of trouble. Brittanys, like all pets, require regular trips to the vet for exams and vacinations. Bringing home any dog requires a strong committment on the part of the new owners. On average, Brittanys live twelve to fifteen years. 

I use the term kennel loosely. My dogs have great temperments and their main job is being a pet.  All of my dogs spend part of their day in the house. I intentionally keep the numbers of dogs in my home small so they can have the attention they deserve. Currently, I have three dogs, True, Friday, and Rizzo.

My dogs compete in American Kennel Club events and come from some of the finest programs in the country. Currently, they compete in shows, hunt tests, and rally events.  AKC events are a great way to meet people and spend time with your dog. Brittanys are versatile dogs and do well in several different venues. 

The name Battle Point comes from an area along Puget Sound, where I grew up. At that time it was a very rural area and a great place for natural recreation.  We galloped our ponies along the beach with dogs in tow. Once we arrived, we would take the ponies and dogs swimming, slide down sandbanks, and collect sand dollars. It was great fun for all involved!!
